Article writing is one of the biggest dilemmas that most online entrepreneurs find quite challenging and hard to deal with. Being a well-known freelance writer for over a year now, I get numerous requests from friends asking if there is some short and quick-to-get-by formula on how to write articles. In actual fact, I get asked most often by some of them to share the software I use to write articles so they too can dive in and start generating compelling contents for their blogs and clients.
The truth is “I don’t use any software to generate content” and I wouldn’t advice anyone to go in for any so-called “content generator” software to generate articles, be it for your blog or a client. Google is increasingly getting sterner on spun or plagiarism contents and so are other search engines. These stern SEO rules from search engines have now imposed the need for fresh and unique contents and have left website owners with these three trending questions:
–>Why write unique article?
Some of you might have been thinking, why actually put up efforts into writing articles when there are lots of articles out there on the web one can just copy and paste on their websites or render as a service on some freelancing sites? The answer to this what I earlier mentioned above, Google and other search engines hate duplicated content and have updated their algorithms to detect any copied/duplicated content. In other words, in order for a website or blog to rank high on Google searches, its contents must be fresh and unique. Also, web applications like Copyscape (paid) and other free ones like duplicheck and pliagiarism.org have now made it possible for everyone to check if content is unique or not, making it impossible for anyone to be deceived with duplicated content on a freelancing site. Rest assured they will check for duplicates before rating your work
–> Who will write these articles?
In these regards, website owners are actually left with two sub-choices:
- Personally Write fresh articles, or
- Hire a freelancer to do the work for you.
Most website owners often prefer to hire a freelance writer to write content for their websites or blogs because they either don’t have the time to actually put in efforts in creating the contents themselves, or most often than not, lack the expertise needed in writing compelling articles for their websites. This probably explains why article writing has over the last few years surpassed graphic designing as the most demanded freelancing service. Yes a search on article writing in popular freelancing sites will return thousands of users making well enough cash from writing content for clients.

Hiring content from these freelancing sites can be somewhat dangerous to your website’s credibility as You might get back content poorly written in a way that doesn’t suit your taste, less SEO optimized, or worst still “duplicated”. You might be wondering, how can a freelancer serve you with duplicated content when he knows you might check for plagiarism? Well some freelance writers actually write contents and distribute to more than one client since they are aware of the fact that there will be some delays before they all get indexed to raise an alarm on a plagiarism search. However, since you are reading this post, I doubt this is the option for you.
